Shandong Weifang randomly inspected 12 batches of PVC insulated wires and cables, all of which were qualified

On May 18th, the official website of Weifang Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau in Shandong Province announced that in the first batch of product quality supervision spot checks organized by the bureau from January to April 2018, 12 batches of PVC insulated wire and cable products produced by 12 enterprises in the city were inspected and found to be fully qualified.

It is reported that the basis for this spot check is GB/T 5023.1-2008 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables with rated voltage of 450/750V and below", GB/T 5023.2-2008 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables with rated voltage of 450/750V and below", GB/T 5023.3-2008 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables with rated voltage of 450/750V and below", GB/T 5023.5-2008 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables with rated voltage of 450/750V and below", JB/T 8734.5-2012 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables, wires and flexible cords with rated voltage of 450/750V and below" and other standards.
During the spot check, Weifang Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau and the above standards mainly inspected 26 items including conductor resistance, finished cable voltage test, insulation resistance, insulation weight loss test, insulation thermal shock test, average insulation thickness, thinnest insulation thickness, and non flame retardant test of cables.
